Case Studies - Full fledged case studies, though rare, are a hard nut to crack as they put you in the shoes of an analyst and the interviewer poses as a client with a problem you have to solve. Interaction with the ‘client’ is of utmost importance and asking questions & details is encouraged. Approach and practicality are very important for any case study.
Guesstimates – These require an attention to detail, and the final answer or numerical values don’t mean much here. You have to arrive at a conclusion while following a structured path and taking into consideration all possible points and scenarios.
Puzzles – Simply put, these are aimed at finding out how you respond to tricky and seemingly impossible situations. Here, logic and mental agility are considered important.
